Task Help

How the task planner pieces fit together
Task title

The short name of the work item. Think of it as the headline for the planned run.

Description / goal

The actual objective. This is what the agent sequence will work on and what later runs should achieve.

Linked chats

Existing chats that should act as background context for this task. Their recent messages are available to the run.

Agent sequence

The ordered worker chain for the run, for example planner -> critic -> summarizer.

Runs

A run is one concrete execution of the task. If you start the same task multiple times, you will see multiple runs here. Each run contains per-step execution prompts, outputs, status, and timing. The step inputs are orchestrator prompts for the agent steps, not the raw chat history itself.

Artifacts

Artifacts are files created by completed runs. Right now these are mainly markdown outputs such as summary.md and next_steps.md. They are meant to be durable outputs you can review, reuse, or pass into later work.

Chats are the long-lived thinking spaces. Tasks orchestrate work across chats and agents on top of that.
